CHANGES TO EU CUSTOMS & HANDLING FEE POLICY (EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 1, 2026)Updated 23 minutes ago
Q. What customs duties and handling fees apply to EU orders?
Starting November 1, 2026, under updated EU import regulations, a new EU handling fee of €2 per customs product category (HS Code) applies to orders shipped to the EU from countries outside the EU.
Orders valued at less than €150
An additional €2 handling fee applies on top of the existing €3 customs duty, bringing the total charge to €5 per customs product category.
Orders valued at €150 or more
A €2 handling fee per customs product category applies regardless of order value. Customs duties may vary depending on the product's origin and applicable trade agreements. Products of Korean origin that qualify under the Korea-EU FTA may be exempt from customs duties.
(Please note: Orders valued at exactly €150 are also subject to the €3 flat-rate customs duty under EU regulations.)
Q. Are these fees charged per product?
No. Customs duties and handling fees are calculated based on customs product categories (HS Codes) rather than the number of individual products.
Example
For an order valued at less than €150, multiple products within the same customs category incur a combined charge of €5.
If the order contains products from two different customs categories, the combined charge is €10.
Q. Where can I see these charges?
Applicable customs duties and handling fees are combined and displayed under "Duties" at checkout. The handling fee will not appear as a separate line item.
The final amount may vary depending on your order value, product classifications, and applicable taxes.
